gday wilsonw,

you only need to submit a form if you are displaying a car. if youre just coming with chief in his car, then only he needs to submit one.

cheers!

G'Day all...

Unfortunately, redundancy has caught up with me, so I will no longer be able to make it down to Wagga. Moneys just in very short supply at the moment, and I dont think I can afford to punt Monty all the way down to Wagga and back for one day.

Im sorry guys but its just not feasable anymore...

Damn, I was looking forward to meeting the famous AFF whipping boy. Well I’ll just have to wait until next year. Is there anyone that could give Young’un a lift down to the show? this could be an option.

Cheers, Danny

Bad luck Young'Un, look seriously into the hitching a ride option in that case!

Secured an EL GT for the show today too. Absolutely amazing car (went for a drive in it). did photo shoot for the paper up here and also another TV advert, all of which will be posted up when I get it.

Hi Young 'un - if you wanted to come down to the event you could get a lift with me on the Friday. The only thing is that I have to leave early Sunday morning to get back for the A1 Grand Prix at Eastern Creek and by that I do mean early having to leave Wagga at 2 to 3am on Sunday morning. Depending on what the other Sydney mob are doing, you may be able to get a lift back with one of them on the Sunday.

As for costs, a couple of us are staying at the Pawn and Palm Hotel and it is only around $55 per night.

Let me know if you are interested and we can take it from there.

Ciao - James

Oh here we go, damn city folk! :

Wagga is big enough for Satnav and it does work here. But youre all getting maps just in case.

Its not that hard to find your way around.

Thanks heaps for the offer James, but unfortunately I am completing my abseil leaders accreditation on Sunday, starting at 0800. I dont think it would be very appropriate or responsible for me to be setting up riggings over a 30 meter cliff face when I have been up since 1am. I literally have peoples lives depending on me so I can't jeopardise that. And I dont particularly want to end up in Coroners court!

Thanks heaps anyway James. I really appreciate the offer.

Also, I have a booking at the Lawson which I have to cancel... Thanks for reminding me!

Are the Lawson booked out yet? If so, does anyone want my room? for a little extra of course! :

I literally have peoples lives depending on me so I can't jeopardise that. And I dont particularly want to end up in Coroners court!

Thanks heaps anyway James. I really appreciate the offer.

Also, I have a booking at the Lawson which I have to cancel... Thanks for reminding me!

Are the Lawson booked out yet? If so, does anyone want my room? for a little extra of course! :
No worries Young'un - keep Canberra All Ford Day in mind which goes over 3 days, 18 / 19 / 20 November - should be a good show. I am going down on the Saturday and returning Monday. The Show N Shine is on the Sunday.

Ciao - James

Hi Austin, actually I am a country lad hailing originally from Ballina. Showing my age, the last time I was in Wagga was in 1967 when I was stationed at the RAAF Base. Did my training at Wagga, then off to Newcastle and then Vietnam. Can't remember much of Wagga that long ago, I was just an innocent virgin making my way into the world.

Ciao - James :Reverend:

what ever's gonna happen to road maps??? SatNav.. you yuppies, one of those systems cost more than my car!!!!

I would make Laminge send in forms for both his cars, but that if only b2f sent one to himself...

Ah a week to go, i've been going on about it the whole day and annoying all the ford guys at work, they're jealous they can't go.. lol Worst thing is, i think i'm getting the flu :(

No dramas Bucky, good to see another Sprint on the list. Im chasing one here, its white but it has some sort of pink/purple pearl through the paint, not too bad.

Yes would be interested. I have to be in Wagga at a certain means that I have to leave work 4 hours earlier (Its an easy 3 1/2 hour drive for me). That will give me a timetable to work to.
