Yes, I Know. NO. They are different ECUs. AU is EEC-V, BA is whatever the new one is (not EEC-V)

Pacemaker extractors, 3" exhaust. For around $1500 - $1800, that should see you hiking along nicely. Unichip at $1200 would be next.

Yes. Get a manual conversion from the wreckers.

Gearbox, bellhousing, pedal box, ECU and all the other minor crap that i forgot and swap it over.

Or do a conversion using a gearbox from another car, commonly a T56 or a Supra gearbox. Mal Wood and Dellow have experience and supply custom parts for these swaps.

SPLINTER- the guy i live with has an EL Fairmont Ghia with the JMM Dev5 kit on an XR 6 block
he wants to put a 5speed in hid and was just gonna bolt it up and then trick the ECU into thinkin it was in neutral all the time
not sure if that helps any but hey?

Lucky it's not a BA - pretty sure a BA won't rev past 3000rpm in neutral.

You can get Tickford badges from a number of places:
1. Ford (they are the cheapest)
2. Rare spares (next cheapest)
3. ebay (most expensive, or cheapest, depending on how lucky you are)

He said that i have no chance of finding them unless i get them made up as Tickford are extinct... And it's a minimum set up cost of $350 and minimum qty of 50 @ $10.00ea to get them made..

Do you have any?? lol

Yes I do. $320 and they're yours! LOL.

Seriously, I do have some. Not 4 though. I have 2, I think. I took them off as I think it's a cleaner look, and also stops people (evil ones) from being tempted to steal them.

$320.. bargain... ;)

Taking them off is probably a good idea... I just wanted it to be different to all the other utes- i guess that's the price to pay...

Would you want to sell the two you have? I can't afford $320 tho :(

Splinter - I'm not looking to sell them, but if you really want them, then I guess I could be pursuaded. You would need to buy double sided tape to mount them though. AFAIK, they are/were $14 each from Ford. I'd be happy with $25 for both, and I'll pay for postage. I will need to confirm that I still actually have 2 though. There's 2 on ebay for $35, plus $5 postage. New old stock.
