i was thinkin of sandin the ribs on the rocker cover... i tihnk more effort than its worth.. and unless i use a very fine grade wet and dry and keep it very wet, it will chip.. and will take ages..

i think im gonna leave it..

good job!
you need to paint the "ford", "OHC" and the "EEC-4" bits another colour and it would set it right off. maybe white would look good on them since your car is white.

NIce but you should get an xh intake snorkel, way bigger then that one. Fits straight in too and only 35 bucks.

I agree the sanding would look better, however on the old EA of mine i just ran the orbital sander lightly over the raised bits then coated the whole shebang with clear. Looked damn sweet

Lookin' good Santo.

Sprint_ED, I used to spend ages cleaning the engine bay of my old car and it always looked sweet as. The new one's a lost cause, I spent about 5 hours on it when I first cleaned the car up and it still looks like shit. I'll just wait till it's painted now!

Ok that's like 20 odd people saying it looks good.
In the poll last week i voted "paint it"
but way more people said leave it black. Where are these people now??
As mentioned above, spent an hour masking up outside the writing and then brush paint the letters on the air box & rocker cover (white) it would look awesome.
You can do it without masking but you dont get sharp edges.
Could even use a white paint texter/marker and it would come up alright.
