Default The moon is smiling

Has anyone checked out the moon tonight? Jupiter and Mars (I think) are perfectley placed above the cresent moon to make it look like it's smiling at you!! Not supposed to happen for another 5ish years

I noticed before that it was a bit different, and that the 2 bright ones were probably planets

As long as the moon don't have a vertical smile!

Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn are all easy to spot with the naked eye. They're 4 of the brightest objects in the night sky. If they're above, you can usually spot all 4 of them at sunset before most stars are visible.

I think it's pretty cool to see other planets in our Solar System, occasionally I'll yank out the telescope for a closer look.

As I was going into my house last night at around 8:30pm, I saw the face in the sky and to tell you the truth, it looked kinda scary. But that was a very rare phenomenon, just to have 2 planets so close to each other is rare enough as it is without the moon just underneath making a face out of it.
