Default Mods & Insurance

I'm considering modding my car, and wondering how it will affect my insurance.

The car is a driven daily, so any mods will be street-legal.

Obviously, each case is different as it depends on your driving history, where the car is garaged, etc. But, as a general guide, what sort of premium increases have you guys experienced once you've modded your car? A list of the mods would be useful too.

Cheers

If you get an online quote with just car insurance their premium rises about $150-$200 if you add exhaust, extractors, cold air intake, alloys and lowered suspension so it's not too much of in increase with them

Cool

If you mod any car most insurers don't insure your car because they like standard cars. I use Shannons and they let you do what you want within reason.

Cheers
