While playing with spacers to suit the rim offsets on the project car, I found a discrepancy with Fords part's /part number for the rear wheel studs on the T1 TS50.
I found that the rear studs were about 12-13mm longer than the front ones, which suited my needs, as the front spacers are quite substantial. I rang Peter at my local Ford parts department and ordered 10 x rear studs. When I picked them up a few days later, lo and behold, they are the exact same length as the fronts. Pete did some digging, and he discovered that the rear studs on my car are exactly the same as the "live axle" ones from the EF Falcon. Now, I'm wondering, Is it an error, and the EF rear studs were/are destined for all IRS equipped AU's? Or is it yet another anomaly of the T-series? This is posted in the T-Series subforum as well, to get feedback from any T-Series owners. Daniel |

I had the EF ones on the LHS rear of my AU1 XR8 IRS, but the "normal" fronts on the Rear RHS.
