I'm unimpressed by their social media presence surrounding the GTF which just gives me a bad vibe.

Aside from that I have no dealings with them.

I can highly recommend Coffee Ford.

Go look at some of the postings they have made on the FPV page against some of the GTF pictures.

Others might not be bothered by it but there seemed to be a lack of regard for their customers in the ones I read. That is all really my own feelings not having actually ever dealt with them before.

Brought my last few cars off them and have had no issues, walked in, told them exactly what I was after n what I had to spend, get a little of the usual aww come on just a bit more and it's yours , but generally always come to a agreement on price and it's generally the figure I've thrown at them, only missed a ba GTP awhile ago for the boy by a small margin , I'd go back for the next one

I think the thing with dealers is everyone has different expectations and dealings.

You do probably need to speak to them and try to make your own decision based on how they treat you.

I'm halfway through dealing with them and it couldn't be easier.

That said I was recommended them and a particular person to deal with by someone who has dealt with them for years.

Bayfords is probably one of the oldest dealers in australia(1917), even though it may have changed hands a few times, dont know if it still has it but it did have a dedicated power steering and transmission section for as long as I can remember, I worked for them back in the 70s, and they where very big on looking after the customer , I know one of the old timers still in service, even though I have had very little contact other than spares over the years, I think if I was buying a limo I would still go to to bayfords, its just my feelings from past decades ago rightly or wrongly.

When my now wife bought her Focus through them, they were not the most forthright when it came to details on the transaction.

Lies about delivery dates ( to the tune of two extra months. )
Tried to handover the car with paint damage.
VERY hard to get warranty work through ( AC loosing Gas, and radio plastic split )
Point Blank refused to do a Recall on car, which i ended up self rectifying. ( Ba rear brake hose )

So at best, i would say they are Average and to be treated like a child who is trying to slip a candy into mums shopping trolley.

If you are astute and very particular though, you shouldnt have a drama

Not from a sales point of view but a servicing issue or lack of.I had a few items that i brought to the attention of the service dept before my warranty ran out on my Fg XR8 namely the lifter noise on one of he banks and i was told its the fuel injector and what oil are you using. They wouldnt rectify it and only said its been recorded and its on file.Kind of defeated the purpose.

Its the contempt that one is treated with when they have some mechanical knowledge.
