Default Ford GT40 today at Speed on Tweed

Some nice cars there today. Some Fords include:

XY,XW,XT GT's
GT & GT500 Cortinas
GT40 Real One (no pic sorry)
GT40 New one (see pics)
Mustang Shelby R Code
Alan Jones Lola F1 Car being driven very quickly
RS1600 Escorts
RS2000 with Cosworth
XL Falcon V8 Coupe
Capris
Army Reserve GroupC XD
And many more..........

It was a good day. The light rain made it good for spectators with the greasy conditions. Ask the guy driving the mint Brock Commodore.

Sorry to be a nitpicker ... but isn't this a Ford GT .... the actual GT40 is the old version only (or replicas that have been built).

I know they look similar ... but not exactly the same.
I guess you could call them a modern-day GT40 really.

Not meant to have a go ... but thought I'd point it out before some gets on here and has a go at you for calling it the wrong name.

The GT40's are nice though.
Not a stupid as that Heath Ledger clown, did you see him on the news tonight, I think stardom has restricted the oxygen flow to his head, or too many poly drugs.

I believe that they were always called Ford GT's (including the new one) but they got the nickname of "GT40" due to the fact they they were 40inches high.
