Might be obvious but I was getting the message so popped a new battery in my remote but the message still shows on the dash after starting. I checked the resting voltage of the new battery and it's 3.4V so not a dud?
And yes, the battery does do what it's supposed to do since I can lock and unlock my car, which I was still able to do with the old battery but the message was annoying and thought best to change it anyway. Could anything else trigger it?

Didn’t work for me. Only button that works when car is running is boot open.
I don’t have keyless start just keyless entry so not sure how playing with the other key would help but I’ll see if that works. Just need to remember where I kept the spare key. Could I get rid of the message using ForScan?

I changed the actual car battery this weekend and the message went away for the key so that’s also an option, disconnect and re-connect the battery and it re-learns.
