Default Brand new Titanium wiper blade shudder

After the first batch of rain we have endured with the new focus (god I love this car) I have noticed at the end of the down wipe, there is quite significant shudder of the wiper arm. Is this something that is easy to adjust or should I contact the dealer?

There is probably some wax on the windscreen - I'd suggest trying some glass polish.

Mine was the same, after polishing the glass all is good.

No, I mean a proper glass polish.

You can buy them from auto stores or from the likes of Waxit or CarCareProducts.

The shudder is because wiper blades should be made out of rubber and not titanium

It has eased off, but we haven't had a batch of heavy rain again. It's like there is an intermediate position that is 'at rest' and then a lower position which is 'off', and the shudder occurs between those two stops.

I've got a brand new Sport and it does the same.

Was told by dealer that it was 'normal' and has refused to look at it...

I'd be interested to hear what your dealer says.
