Why?

Having been driven in dozens of Limos, the drivers are usually mature people who drive well. OK the vehicle will have a heap of KM's on the Odo, but they are usually well maintained etc. Unlike a Taxi, appearance is everything in the Limo game.

They certainly arent't treated like taxis, but having said that, I reckon the stretch ones will have had a tough life with yobbos driving the Porcelain Bus in the back a few times on the way back from weddings etc!

Hmmm I think a certain traveler on here might work for them or certainly their competition.

I used to service hire cars a my old job... yes they are mature drivers and in most cases way over qualified for the job but there boss mr greed only looks at money money money and pushes the car as far apart from services as possible.. We would get brand new holden caprice with 20,000 for its first service. hey looks good but hard hard life..

I know a girl who was being taught about hybrid electric cars at high school (year 11) and identified electric cars as the ones with the big solar panels on the boot.

When I asked her why she thought they were solar panels she said "Why else would you have such a big ugly thing on you car........

My previous employer sued them for thousands. Went to court as they did not pay their bills.

Win some, loose some I guess.

You would think that the car yard would take the Astra badge off. It would not look to good to a customer to see a car they may be interested in badged as an Astra, regardless of the limo company.

As for that VT hybrid monstrosity. : :

I cringe everytime I see VT's with those poxy rear lights that are a complete mismatch for the garnish. God they looked better stock, or just get the calais lights with the clear indicators....
