Hi all, it's been a good while since I've been on the Forum. My son Matthew, who was known as EFV8GHIA on here, passed away from Cancer a couple of months ago aged 20. So really I haven't had a lot of interest in going online. His funeral was a Ford affair really. We had a cavalcade of Fords driving the streets of Mt Gambier before the funeral and they all followed the hearse to the crematorium. Once there they formed a guard of honour. On the walls of the crematorium we had big Ford flags, his coffin was draped with a Ford flag, there were Ford model cars on there as well and to top it off, a photo of him with Mark Winterbottom and Steven Richards who helped make his last few months much more enjoyable. He was our son, our mate, our inspiration and our hero. There was a member on here who Matthew paid $300 to for a diff. The diff never turned up and he was banned from the forum. His member name on here was ebgt302. If anyone has a name, contact number or address for him I would appreciate you giving me a pm. I will add some photos of my car and Matthew's car together and also all of the Fords at the funeral soon. Thanks.

Glad to see ebgt302 gone, but would give my nads so you could spend another hour with your Boy.
Sorry for his passing, at an obscenely young age, but live your life as he would have hoped.

Forget the loss of a few bob on a diff from that tool listed above. If its the cash, we can pass the hat, but I doubt it is that. Your Son won't hold a grudge, nor should you! He will be judged when he meets his maker!

RIP EFV8GHIA!

Mike

Very sad that Matthew has passed so early in his life and we all just have to wonder why. Sounds like you gave him a very fitting send off and its good to see that you are able to let us know and share your loss. Look forward to the pics.

Keep your chin up.

The old Jack Dancer has a lot to answer for, condolences on your loss, 20 is way too young. I've beaten (so far) thyroid cancer, another family member is battling bowel cancer, a cousin just got diagnosed with bone cancer, my nephew died of it aged 19 of cancer and my Dad was riddled with it (he was a smoker).

very very sad to hear this. Such a harsh world at times. I am sure would've looked down from above and smiled at the love and support of his family, friends, and fellow ford fans.

Sorry to hear of your loss, its never good news to hear of someones passing but at such a young age is horrible. Keep thinking of the good memories, the send off you gave him sounds very fitting he would have been proud.

As a 22 year old, and a father myself, my deepest condolences to you and your family...
