Default Number plate ideas for 1963 Ford Galaxie

Hi Guys,

Have a 1963 Ford Galaxie 500XL fastback with the 390 4bbl and 3spd auto. It is a Z code configuration. The reason why I am telling you this information is so that people on the forums can help with ideas for getting some nice number plates to put on it.

Have been thinking of GAL 63Z as the closest option so far. The only downside to this is not many people know it is a Z code car just by looking at it...but does that really matter if I know what it means?

It is also a very big car being a bit over 2m wide and almost 6m long, which might help with ideas also. Am hoping to attend the Peter Warren All Ford Day this year and meet a few of you there.

Cheers

Trent

63 GAL
Could either be read as "63 Galaxie" or "63 Girl"

That would be classed as a custom plate over here in SA though, I'm sorry I'm not up to speed on the configurations and availability of NSW plates.

How about - 63GLXY - or - GLXY63 - I know I know, not very original, but at least it makes sense.

Riksta, would be classified as a custom plate over here too. Quite expensive. Of course would be nice if I had the money to burn on number plates.

Yes i think the black and white plates will be the pattern, more specifically white on black.

MNM96 and Scotty85, you gave me an idea if I combined both your suggestions.

FATGAL
