how to bottle feed 2.0l pinto

As the title say basically how do I bottle feed a 2.0l pinto does the bottle have to be higher than where the line goes to? Or can I sit the bottle on the ground with the pump inlet hose in the bottle? Do I feed it to the fuel pump inlet? Or the
carbi inlet?

Best talk to the bloke you get the new bottle from , or talk to the installer , seems like you lack the skills right now

I'll assume you're trying to "bottle feed" petrol to your engine from a suitable container to bypass the fuel tank, not install nitrous. I'll also assume the engine hasn't been started in a while.

If your fuel pump is in known good order then it should pick up fuel with the bottle placed on the ground and a length of fuel line running from the bottle to the fuel pump - this will take some cranking to get the fuel up, make sure you've got a good battery.

To bypass the fuel pump, the bottle will have to be higher than the carb and you'll have to start a siphon action to get fuel running down the line before connecting it to the carb fuel inlet.

A little knowledge is a dangerous thing here. It can be a disaster waiting to happen. Post back with more detail of what you're trying to do. I really don't want you to get burned.
