we are taking the Capri out. if u go, come say g'day. we might have a decent showing but Joe has barely any practice on a Pro-Tree with the turbo combo.

the Sport Compact guys are very serious when it comes to racing, guys like GAS, PAC, Rayglass really pushing the envelope with their cars. seeing the likes of Campo and Gauci for me are worth the admission alone.

hopefully i will be able to get some good video, the worst thing about racing is u get to miss alot of the good bits

that chassis is pretty much the same spec as Joe's, so it's good to run low 8's at least we haven't seen that Capri for a few months we dropped it off to the owner so he can drive it over Christmas and haven't seen it since wait till the good 302ci goes into that one, runs 11.1's now, with the good 302W (10.5@127 3000lb) should drop nearly a second off the time, this Capri is 200lbs lighter as well (just over 2800lbs with 70kg driver) a low 10-second 302 Windsor that can and was driven daily is a pretty rare thing to see. that engine did over 500 passes, pulled it down and it was like new, man Go-Mac can build some awesome engines

was there today, couldn't take pics he has it covered up real well.

Mark Dallacqua has 1 for sale also, it's $1000 but the floor has been taken out at the back as it was going to be a 3/4 chassis car.

Super sticky track and heaps of 7 second passes...
The smell of E85 was much stronger than other events...
I assume many are using it...Making more usable power..
Ambient temps where rather low too...

not sure yet, we think planetary. we weren't surprised, the box has done alot of passes, it's only a standard case and internals, good for maybe 850hp, we were lucky to be pushing 1000+hp for over 70 passes the extra 110rwhp it made on Friday (680rwkw total) must have just been too much.

saw Michael's EB, well done on the 10.5 very impressive run, shocked a few of us.

track was very sticky, we were spewing didn't get a run. had my box been done or my other brother's not been in the Corolla we would have threw it in. shouldn't be out for too long, maybe 1-2 weeks.

heaps of people have made the change to E85 smelt like a candy factory with all the methanol and E85 in the air

run of the meet, Joe Gauci's MSB Cortina with a 7.37@199 the MSB Capri we are going to build, just became the MSB Cortina, that car is absolutely crazy

TC/TD they are wider and longer wheelbase than the Capri's, as much as we want to do a Capri, we think their might be more potential in a Cortina. Joe Gauci and Pazzo have both run 7.3 passes in them on a factory style suspension.
