I am after pics of E-Series V8 supercars...

I bought the latest Street Machine Ford mag, and there is a pic of Allan Jone's EB... it looks hot...

Now I need more car p0rn.

wonder how often he had to weld up his pedal box during the season?

cant see from the pics but has that thing got the full EB dash in it? i remember back then these cars started life basically on the same line as the EB sedan shells, then sent to Dencar or whatever for the cage. That could have been dunnydoors though, or i may have my **** twisted all together

yep, full dash....
and you're correct, right up to AU AFAIK were factory shells with the cage added

it says on the thing it was originally an EB shell, built into an EF, then into an EL

dencar only built the commodores, still do. All the toll HSV, HRT Kmart cars all built there. Back in the day when people just bolted cages in they were engineering them for maximum benefit for cornering, lateral load etc. They used to cover the windows of their cars so no one could see.

Skaife actually at one time tried to start his own business and stab dencar in the back.
