interesting comparison, look how well the falcon lpg ute stacks up to nearly all but light and small cars.

Agreed, Mil, it provides quite an insight in comparing vehicles using base criteria for all.

I think if most people did the maths, they would be shocked to find out how much $$$ they spend on their cars per year. I'd say $7k - $10k for running and maintaining a car if fully owned, plus finance costs on top of that if there are any! I did the sums on my XR8 and found it costing me in the middle of that range. Decided to sell and Salary Sacrafice a FG FPV, with the sale price of my XR8 going to my home loan, and think that at the end of my 2 year lease I will be approx. $4k better off than if I had bought the GT outright!

They say a company car is worth and extra $10k - $12k a year to your salary.. taking into cost of rego,insurance and servicing and fuel..

When I mean 10 - 12k i'm saying running cost not the price of car..

It's interesting that the SUV compact class is noticably cheaper to run than the Aussie large car - 10-11K vs 12-13K p/a.
