Default Correction of Pop-Up Glossary Definition - 'Distributor'

G'day Moderators. Can somebody please correct the pop-up glossary definition for 'Distributor'?

It currently reads; "In pre-EFI days, a distributor was a device in the ignition system of an engine that routed high voltage from the ignition coil to the spark plugs in the correct firing order."

It should read; "A distributor was a device in the ignition system of an engine that routed high voltage from the ignition coil to the spark plugs in the correct firing order."

EFI and distributors co-existed for a while. The Windsor V8 engines in the EB/ED/EF/EL Falcons had Multi Point Fuel Injection and Hall Effect / TFI distributors. I think that the last Cleveland V8 engines in the F100 ambulances also had Central Fuel Injection and distributors.

An analog vs. a digital method of initiating ignition

Thanks Russell.

Actually Raptor, I was surprised to find that my EL XR8 dizzy was in fact controlled digitally by the ECU when working normally. If there was a problem though and it stopped receiving the ECU trigger signal then it would default to analogue mode. So a bit of a hybrid then, but you could still call it a mechanical vs electrical method of routing ignition spark.
