Default Latest mod into my LV

Hi Focus owners. This one is directed mainly to those with XR5s. If you have an LV then this mod MAY be possible for you, depending on the software version of the head unit.

Instructions can be found on the XR5 forums with full installation pics and a list of what parts to buy.

This mod enables iPod connectivity/USB Flash drive and BT Audio (A2DP).

Anyway, Here's the results of the install

iPod

BT Audio (nothing connected)

You may need to send them an email with part detail.

You will also need firmware v05.03.01 and above is supported. I have v05.03.02 and it works a treat.
You can check what firmware your head unit has by holding down the 1 and 6 buttons and turning it on. The 1st number that displays will be you firmware.

I'll post pics of the install later.

Install Pics (Thanks to KhAoTiC)

To put all the parts back, just follow the steps in reverse.

Also note, you may see a USB port on the module that's in the car already (and brix will be shat). Never fear though, as that module doesn't actually have the USB support. The casing on the module is generic, hence having a port.
