Looking at carbies guys, and need a bit of advise
The standard carby DGV 26/27 weber has ben replaced witha DGMS 38 which has 27 chokes I'm looking a little bit more then DGMS as it doesnt offer any more HP only a better torque curve. I'm thinking a single DCOE on Lynx manifold, does anyone have one and what do you think. I dont want twin side drafts, been there and done that. the other option is a DCNF downdraft 40mm with 33 chokes any view or advise, all welcome Muzza

Stick with the 38dgms. These have enough capacity to power an engine to 180hp plus so unless your engine is highly modified there is not much point. An added avantage is they look standard (no police hassles), The economy isnt too bad and will work well in todays traffic conditions.

180hp plus out of a two 27mm chokes - I would like to see that......
OP - original downdraft manifold outflows the single sidedraft manifold by significant numbers, defeats the purpose. DCNF with 33s sounds interesting, alternatively if you are over dual DCOE sidedrafts you can always go for dual IDF downdrafts... |
