Default sound system wiring

hi guys my name is alen, im new to ford forums... i would like know how to pass my wires for a amplifer through the firewall of a LS zetec. whats the safest way i can do this without being to intrusive and causing too many problems.

Gday Alen,

On the firewall behind the battery box is a large grommet with some cabling loom coming out. Make a hole at the top of the grommet and you can pass the power cabling from this. I am running 4 or 2 guage wiring through here.

ON my Fiesta, i simply just attached the power cable to the end of a long long screw driver and just forced the screwdriver through the gromet along the wires.. then grabed the wire from the other end. then simple jsut pulled the screw driver out from the side it went in... and Presto.!
