Default 2009 Ford Fiesta Fuel Filter

Hello

I have the current shape 5 door Fiesta 2009 Zetec model. It has just passed the 120 000km mark and i was going to organised the replacement of the fuel filter. On ringing my local dealer i was told that there is no fuel filter to buy as it is somehow part of or inside the fuel tank or pump. Googling this filter also showed no hits. (there is a filter for the diesel but not the petrol)

Can someone who actually knows enlighten me about the fuel filter situation with the current Fiesta. It is a petrol 1.6l and manual.

Thanks

It might be like Honda and be a part of the fuel sender/reg/pump assembly inside the tank they are replaceable though in Hondas, you have to pull everyhing apart, its the plastic bit that holds everything which is the filter.

Does the manual suggest a fuel filter replacement in there anywhere?

I know they reckon the gearbox is sealed for life, I think it has a drain plug but no fill plug, or the other way around, no drain plug but a fill one.
