Hi everyone, I purchased a shift light for my focus the other day and was wondering if anyone out there knows how to wire it up? It says that it has to be connected to the fuse box? Any help will be great. Thanks.

You could have an interesting time with this, as the focus doesn't use a distributor and coil or high tension leads (which these normally rely on). The power from the fusebox would be accessory power, I'm guessing you'll have 3 wires: acc power, earth and a signal wire. The ACC power you can take from anywhere, pull the fusebox from under the dash on the passenger side, and use a test light to find an ACC wire (I used a fairly heavy yellow wire, so try them first ), and then run the earth wire. As far as signal goes, you *might* be able to use the spark plug wire on #1 cyl, but I'm not sure, as they are only a 12v wire, the coil-on-plug ignition system means that there are no high-voltage wires in the system.

LS/LT comes with one factory :P ...and if it's valve bouncing...you've got problems. Rev limiter problems :P Talking of which, i heard the other day that the ECU pulls back the timing and richens the mixture for a few seconds if you actually hit the limiter...
