SO.. the accountant told me it was time to trade in the Barra a few weeks ago. Im sad coz my BA has been a wonderful car. I bought it new, placed the order, waited few weeks for it to arrive, got photos of it going down the line and all. It has full SR kit and heaps of options, was a great cruise car.. I had a tear to think it had to go. To the next owner, have a look under the drivers seat, i think you will find a piece of my heart there
Anyhow I traded it for Mondeo Zetech hatch. I picked up the new car thursday. All new and shiny, sign the papers and drive away, about 45 mins drive home in the new toy, admiring the "new car-ness". SO clean, so shiny, the windscreen like crystal its so see thru. I get about 1 block and some low flying winged bastard "blessed" my windscreen right in front of my main line of sight. ONE BLOCK! And im talking no sparrow, Im talking low flying pterodactyl job! I try the washers SMEEEEEAAAARRRRRR!!!! I have over half an hour of my first drive, staring thru *****e!!! I say to my mrs.." Awww! look at that! And the size of it! I didnt know there were eagles round here." She just looks at me and deadpans "I think it was a FALCON!" Signing divorce papers soon. Good thing I hadnt traded in a mustang... |
