Default Au xr8 diff oil

Have a 2001 AU xr8 with irs and want to change the diff oil.

There is a slight whine from the diff.

Can anyone recommend a diff oil and LSD additive.

Cheers

IRS equipped AU's can have either conventional or LSD diffs - LSD cars have a plate attached to the carrier saying HIGH PERFORMANCE USE APPROVED LUBRICANT ONLY. Having said that, the V8 should be IRS anyway.

Penrite 80W-140 diff oil. Already has the anti chatter additive added & whilst formulated for LSD, can also be used for non LSD vehicles.
