Default LPG for XR8

Does anybody know of an 2003 BA XR8 that has been fitted with LPG and if so if there are any reported problems. I have just purchased said vehicle and I am contemplating a gas conversion with a company called PROGAS in Victorie

Default Xr8 Lpg

Thanks Nathan,
The links helped, I am in Sydney and nobady here will put gas into the car for me but PROGAS in Huntingdale in Vic have stated that they have perfected the gas injection for the BA motor only up to a 2003 model as yet nobody will do a 2004 and up due to the emission control regulations that came into effect in 2004.

Hopefully will have mine completed by the end of February and I will post some photos and mileage readings when I drive it back to Sydney.

Cheers

Paul

Thumbs up Lpg Xr8

Paul,

One of the owners at Injection Perfection in Bankstown has done his own BF XR8 LPG conversion. He also swapped the petrol tank for a 90lt Ford LPG tank and is very happy with the result.

Let me know how you go.
