The LE HX was to use up the rest of the leftover coupe bodies.

Just like the later idea with the SLE Statesman while they re tooled, to release the all new WB body shape.

That's correct, but there are too many similarities between this car & an LE for it to be a coincidence.

AFAIK the LE prototype was an HJ.
