meh gimme the GT anyday, the corvette is hot but can't go past the GT (the look, the style, the rawness and its exclusivity).
those times on the 1/4 vary for the GT a little, other mags have got in the mid 11's. i guess all depends on the driver.
Besides the bigger engine is there anything else that differes the Z06 from the normal C6? How much displacement would the s/c on the GT add to the 5.4?

The Z06 has carbon fiber body parts, dry sump oiling, aluminium frame, 6+4 piston calipers... not to mention the 7.0L hand assembled donk.

The Viper and the Vette look pretty damn similiar in the above pic! I'd be happy with any of them, but would probably prefer the GT if I had any choice!

It's just too hard to choose!
The Viper is so sexy, the Dodge just begs you to have a spin, and the GT is just a star. And knows it.

You'd be a winner no matter what you picked, but I'll haev to be entirely biased and choose the GT too.

Would be a massive coup if Ford AU could get even 10 of these for sale here.

The GT also canned the Ferari 360 Modena and the Porsche GT3 Racecars in another article I read last year. This also makes it would make it my choice of the cars.

Bear in mind the Z06 costs $70K USD while the GT costs $150K USD. I dare say some of you would baulk at paying that much for a car if converted to our money. Moot point, I know! :hihi:

There's a bloke who assembles these beautiful beasts (GT replicas) here in AUS. I'm not sure what engine he uses but I did see one on the road and can tell you they look far more impressive on the road than in any pictures in a magazine.

I believe at the moment he has been used Windsor 5.0L engines. Now due to emissions restrictions and branching out into the US, he is going to 4.6L (not sure if S/C'd or note. The reason not for going for the 5.4L is the sheer size and mass of the engine.

The company is roaring forties down at Dromana, and I believe has even recently set up operations in South Africa to build even more cars for export to the US and Europe.

But yeah i'm 99% sure he is using or going to use the 4.6L.

True true... But i'm still pretty sure that was part of the reasoning. I remember doing a car club tour through the Dromana facilities one weekend and he was saying that a 4.6L (or was it the 5.4L?) is about the same size as a big block V8 and just as heavy.

But it's an emissions thing.
