Default POD or not?

Also..my telstar is an AT so what would be involved in changing the air box over to a POD? and where would it be attatched and such due to the ecu air control and such..excuse the semi retardedness in my questions as i do car body repairs and not mechanical..so my knowledge is limited

Take the Airflow meter out with the top 1/2 of the box. Undo the 4 bolts inside the top 1/2 of the box. The top 1/2 and the AFM will come separate. Go to Autobarn or something and buy a pod filter adapter for a mazda, and of course a filter. Get a piece of metal (you measure) and bend it to a 90degree angle and drill some holes in it. You need one bit to go onto one of the bolts on to the AFM (since it needs to be held tightly as the Airbox wone be there anymore) and the other side of the thing you make goes onto a lone bolt on the suspension housing, (you will see it, the airbox used to cover it) oh and remember to take the lower half off of it and put the pod on. Let me tell u it sounds sik. I have a 2.2NA sitting in the backyard with a pod and exhaust and it sounds just like a WRX. (even 100% stock with the pod) best $40 i ever spent
