Red face Loose rear spoiler

My XR8s rear spoiler is loose. Not where it joins the boot but the actual cross section with the towers. Doesn't feel like it's going to fall off but annoying all the same. To fix this what needs to be done?

The plastic has split, so you need to reinforce it in some way. I have used thin steel plate in the past to reinforce, or you could fibreglass it - either way it needs to come off and have something done, and stop using it as a handle to open the boot.

Yeah it hasn't been used as a handle but the wife slams it shut. Wear n tear. I'll pull it off and have a look. Thanks

I know on the latter BA/BF the legs on the wings were separate so the top could also be used as the F6 wing with the longer uprights. Is it the same on the AU wing? If so, just needs to be pulled off the car and re-tighten the bolts between the posts and wing.

Without taking it off I can see stress fractures on the underside of the wing. I'll take is off and have a good look.
Thanks to all
