Yes you get a new license.

The top list of features will give you the best idea.

But from experience the new remote is much easier to navigate and responsive, the screen and navigating is much smoother, the menu looks much more proffessional and the whole system overall is much more stable.
Although system will still power off Navigation when starting your vehicle, as this is a hardware change only available with the current system.

ok....im updating mine to V3 guys, I will post some pics and video when the upgrade is complete!

Oh 1 more thing, why doesnt the navi extras recognise my SD card as a device?? Just says no device connected

You have the old Navigations System, it will only recognise the New Navigation.

By the way if you want the delay circuit on startup we will requre you to return your module and main harness to us also. We are currently getting these made so I will inform you when to return.

hi,

Now in my old Territory I added the mp3 input plug up under the fuse box so I could plug my ipod in, can I still do this with the sat nav plugged in? I cant find a spare plug...it is the ASL mp3 lead I have with a 3.5mm on one end and a white plug on the other.

Also I noticed when I press mode on the remote I have a mp3 player, how do I get songs on there and is there a input for music??

Yes you can still do this, keep looking for the 6 plug it is there, the sat nav has nothing to do with the AUX.

Also this function is disabled on the new Nav for MP3, and no there is no input for music.

ok figured it out, mine is a Ghia with roof mounted DVD and ford thought it would be a good idea to plug the DVD into the aux input...even tho the DVD has a fm transmitter!

I might splice the aux cable in as I need it! unless there is a splitter cable?

dunno if u can help but when i slip my SD card in a reader on the PC and open naviextras tool box, nothing happens, it doesnt recognise it as a device....is this normal??

This has been answered in post 31. You have the OLD system, it will not recognise these cards. You first need to upgrade your system for free map upgrades and I have asked you to contact us direct for this to occur.

Sat Nav 3 is IGO Limousine from NNG .....Primo is for PNA only (or me and you windows mobile,WinCE)

Thanks Johnny .. But they are all NNG Igo Clones basically which is not a bad thing as I am starting to like Igo Primo a lot.

For those that are wondering the Igo Clones are ..

Igo 8.0, Igo 8.3, Igo Amigo, Igo Primo, and Igo Limosine which is what is used in the ASL latest release.

Hi Sorry to "raise an old thread" however, I am looking at buying one of your systems for a G6ET. Wondering if the price is a sper website still of $1195?

I presume this integrates with the standard ICC just fine? Having just sold a MY10 wrx with gat nav, I am really missing it and want something similar. Also, how long do you need for an install and where in Melbourne can I have it done?

Please let me know.

our nav kit intergrades with the factory color screen for video and sound intergrades with factor speakers so there is no ugly tom tom on ur windscreen and voice well heard as it overides sound depending on waht u listening to, been a g6et u will need a bypass for you factory reverse camera so it allows u the auto switching in between nab and camera, we are located 13 commercial dve lynbrook vic, we fit here as well the kitcomes with 2 yrs of free map updates ph 0397991444 or email fadi@aslautomedia.com

compared to the subey nav its not as good...might be better of with a tomtom etc....ive used my in car nav all of 3 times as it really doesnt do it for me.,. tom tom is much more pleasing.
