Default Unknown plug?

While I was replacing a light bulb in the drivers side underneath was this plug, not sure what its for because its the lx model. Could it be a plug for fog lights? Does anybody else have one?

What year is your MC? Maybe that started including it from a certain date.
Mines a 2011 LX. I will have to have a look and see if mine has it.

I'm pretty sure 2010/2011 cross over but ours is the lx base model so I'm really confused if it is a fog light connector I'll be cheering!
