go buy a second hand flywheel and make sure all the teeth are in good condition, then take the flywheel and clutch to Chris Milton down on main north road next to scotts motel and get them to lighten the flywheel and balance it to the clutch. cost me $145 iirc.

well comparing my car to another manual ea that ive driven the revs picked up quicker, didnt seem as laggy but the revs also died off quickly during gear changes, nothing a flat shift wont fix ;)

I wouldn't bother putting a lightened flywheel on a Falcon. Spend the money modding something else. The engines aren't revvy enough warrant one and like Ehab said, it'll lose momentum during gear changes.

The only lightened extreme flywheels i have seen take larger clutches than the standard 6's, so you get more than just a light wheel.

when i was down at extreme they told me that they dont sell lightened flywheels. my gearbox never crunches except for trying to select reverse while rolling 2km/hr! i was getting really good at flat shifts into 3rd but then the motor died......

so does anyonehave any specs on the flywheels that extreme sell? size if different, how light, what material is it made from and what clutch comes with them?
