My family are attending the Down Syndrome Buddy Walk in Melbourne to raise awareness of Down syndrome and to raise funds to support children and adults with Down syndrome and their families.
My 9 year old daughter has Down Syndrome and we did this last year and our team raised close to $1000. If any site sponsers would like to donate any amount, your sponsorship will help people with Down syndrome fulfil their potential and lead confident, rewarding lives. You can see the page we have set up for Amy on the link below. Off course all donations are tax deductable, and you get emailed an offical receipt to claim on your tax. Thanks Chris and Tina Naughton http://www.thankq.net.au/tq_communit...Ref=P11182/850 Last edited by naughts; 18-09-2010 at 08:38 AM. |

Best of luck for the walk. If I was in Melbourne I’d gladly join the walk.
Great cause, my little niece has downs syndrome too.
