Default No V8 Futura

I was just checking my NRMA insurance, and noticed that for all 2002 model falcons, there was no 5L AU Futura! Is this consistant throughout the whole range, or just for the final 2002 releases, or completly incorrect together?

Forte, fairmont, fairmont ghia and SR you could get a v8. Not futura.
That goes for series 2/3 anyway, not sure about series 1.

I got my series 2 Forte V8 going very well - even though it was only the 175kw version. Best dyno I had was 147rwkw - that was up from 119 standard.

But yeh, coulnd't get it in Futura spec, though my forte came with ABS, sports suspension etc - all optioned with the V8, so ended up close to futura spec anyway.
