Default Fairmont Ghia Upgrades

Quick couple of questions.

Will an 2001 XR8 instrument cluster work in a 2002 Fairmont Ghia V8?

Also, I am looking at getting both a stall converter and diff gears. I have been told a 2500 stall would be the best, any advise. I have also been told to get 3.7 or 3.9 diff gears (I already have 3.45) which ones would suit best?

I do a little towing, light weight about 10 times a year.

Ta

I would say 2500 stally and 3.7 diff gears would give you the results your after without changing day to day economy and driveability to much!

I reckon that'd be the best combo too as a 3:9 would be too low I'd reckon.

Remember that you've got the lovely torque of the Windsor @ 2500 plus the 3:7. It should be more than enough.

Cheers!

Thanks Guy's.

Yeah, I think I will go for the 2500 stall and 3.7 diff.

Are the sway bars the same between the Ghia and the XR? I wouldn't think so so that might be something for you to swap over.
