I have a 1999 Ford Festiva 1.5 that is hard to start when cold. It does finally start if its cranked for long enough, then it will fire up no problem once the engine is warm. What could the problem be?

How old is the battery? Go and take it for a test at an auto elec and see if it needs replacing.
