Default Help with XH snorkle

I went into Ford and asked for an XH snorkle to replace the crap EA one. The problem I found is that there is a big bend in the one I got, while the EA one is fairly flat. I feel it may be the wrong type. The part number of the one I got is 9A624 A. A couple of pictures are below. Is this in fact an XH snorkle, or should I send it back?

Well, Niko has told me it's in fact an EL GT snorkel. Since it won't fit I'm going to take it back to Ford and get a refund.

Yeah that would be to suit the BBM manifold and airbox.

Well. I've taken it back. Supposedly that type fits both 6 and 8 cylinder EF-ELs.

Yeah, pretty stupid by Ford, also by me for not noticing the huge difference till I popped the bonnet! The mods are slowly happening. I'll probably get an XH snorkel from FTG Auto Salvage as I think they have a few there.

Recently I've been replacing worn out / broken components in the car as well. Just bought a new throttle cable and cruise control cable. I also have a whole lower dash section that I have to get around to swapping over. It will be a fairly big job, so I may need a little help with that one.

It was about $50. Would have been a cheap mod!

haha I gotta laugh dezza cause they are totaly different, the EF/EL one goes into the bottom of the airbox and the EA/ED one goes into the lid.

You should keep it and put a BBM manifold and EF intake on it. :P

Yeah. It certainly is different. I've already taken it back though.
