Default XR5 Turbo RWD

Just curious the amount of work/time/money it would take to convert an XR5 to rear wheel drive?

I'd imagine it wouldn't be realistic at all but oh my that thing would be so much fun.

Have a look to the Uk. there are companies doing the conversion who have created 'kits' that allow fitment of a cosworth engine and possibly a sierra rear axle and subframes.

Wow there's a lot more work than I expected.

Why didn't they just bring it out rwd from the beginning? I'd buy one tomorrow...

I'm pretty sure I've seen one in Europe that had the I5T fitted and was rwd.
