Default FTV S6 - The forgotten FPV?

Saw this at lunchtime and managed to snap a couple of pics before the lights changed.

Can't believe what he's done with this van.

Have FPV missed an untapped market? Imagine a fleet of Telstra vans like this?

That's actually done pretty well.
Some decent effort put into the build that's for sure.

Ford Transit Van S6. I don't know what is meant by the S6 bit? Oops, supercharged 6cyl motor. Not bad.

The new Aussie customised Bedford van of the 2000s.

More than a Tranny, that's gold. Can't beleive this thing has a website, but it deserves it.

Now we all know what can be done, it's time for FPV versions of all sorts of Fords.

Great work.......but the devil is in the detail...."Buick" V6....TH700....it's sounding very, um, "General" in it's mechanical makeup.....

But really, get a look at it! My hat goes off to him for creativity and attention to detail on the exterior - and carrying the concept through to logos, clothing and promo girls - great work!

(OK, so who is now going to continue by doing an F6 engine conversion??)

Some serious work has gone into that van... and one can only assume that it is decked out inside as much as it is worked on the outside...

What a great concept... Love it!

It had the insides done before the outside, from the web page info, but he will be doing the insides again to bring it up to a better standard.

Other than the engine, great job!!!

Truly a tranny, what you see on the outside isn't what you get on the inside. Now about those "girls" in the pics.

Very neat job indeed. Everything flows and fit's like it was a factory model. Don't know about the choice of engine though!

v6 conversion into these trannys are a very common conversion.

i remember at oe stage there were a few of them with au motors with a turbo bolted onto them going around for durability testing. they were going to be used as ambulances. dont know what happened to them

I think you guys are in the minority here, aside from the bad choice of engine (which I hope is because the I6T wouldn't fit), it's full of win.
It's probably the second best van I've seen (the best being that XJ220 Transit in UK).

Massive props to the guys who built it.
