Default Broken remote, who fixes or sells new ones?

Thought the battery was flat in my wife's remote, put a new battery in only to find that the soldering that holds the battery area in has broken away and the remote doesn't work!

Does anyone know if you can buy new remotes or if anyone out there repairs them, and at what cost?

Thanks,

Justin.

Had the same prob.

Ebay would be your best friend here, or find a mate to do a solder job on it...

There is another thread on this topic.
A few people have put blue-tac or some sort of packing in behind the battery to hold it in.
With the cover closed this seems to work O.K.

I soldered mine back on. Just a tip, I put a but of foam inside my remotes to sort of hold the battery's in place. Supports them a little.
They are on EBAY for between $20 and $30.
