Nothing unusual there, lotsa 'aftermarket' mining options designed, made and fitted onsite back in them days, no ADR, HSE or design rules to worry or care about but plenty of jagged rocks sticking up around the Haul roads to snag the undersides of the low slung ute fleet.....someone probably got a gift voucher for designing that and saving on smashed sumps...

This would have been one of the few 2wd utes left on the mine by then as they where all getting replaced by 4x4's, mainly Landcruisers for the ground clearance.

Found a couple more, I think i took the one with the guys but i didn't take the one underneath the truck cause I didn't go under it....take note of the safety clothing lol

"giggles @ ppe" reminds me of a time making a delivery at golden grove where i had to where ppe to enter
i had to enter to do a induction to be on site , just to do the induction ! (catch 22 situation as i didnt need either)
and yet officially i didnt have to enter as the delivery was off site where i didnt have to wear any ppe
and another at williams where we had to wear ppe just to sit on the other side of the main road whilst the water corp unloaded the trucks
