Getting very close to 100,000 cases now.

Italy closed all education facilities for 10 days.

Nursing home workers refuse to return after a resident dies if corona.

This is really not looking good.

It's in Macquarie Park now ... just down the road from work.
I think I should self-isolate and work from home for the next 2-3 months.

Just observe universal precautions. No hugging, no shaking hands (tough for Aussies yeah), cough or sneeze into a tissue or handkerchief (I don't like the elbow bit) and importantly WASH your HANDS with soap for at least 20 seconds. I'm amazed how many grubs leave the toilet without washing.

ScoMo just announced further travel restrictions from affected countries... China, Iran already banned... Korea added.
Italy will now face “intense screening” (if it was AFTER Melb F1, I bet Italy would be on exclusion list too?)

Last month there were reports on Chinese social media that family pets could carry the virus.

So how did the Chinese dispatch their family pets? Buy throwing them off the unit balcony of course.

Now it seems that a pet dog in HK has corona virus as well.

Now the streets will be littered with dead cats and dogs.

Well, on the bright side China's air has never been cleaner....

"The Chinese": so every Chinese family did this or is this just a sweeping generalisation?

Maybe think just a little before posting a racist claim like that

How about you pull your head in.

You have had several attempts at closing down this discussion. If I didn't know any better I'd think you're an operative of the CCP.

Please pass on any complaints and criticisms to the above media in that case.

The HK dog that was infected seems to be an anomaly:

Doesn't matter - once 'Chinese' whispers gets hold of it then the rate of pet disposal will skyrocket..

I just can't fathom what some is thinking when they decide the best way to remove a family pet from a home is to simply walk to the balcony of your apartment and throw it to its death like a used tissue.

Seems the lucky ones were simply abandoned...

It would be nice is everyone stopped supporting them but the first thing out of every Australian's mouth is price when they're buying something.

We all want high wages but don't want to pay anything to anyone else, me, me, me, me, me, me!

Well, local manufacturing is going gangbusters since the demise of China's output.

A lot will be learnt from this incident - globally.

Only problem is, once they get back on their feet the government will probably subsidise manufacturing to totally undercut anyone else in the hope of clawing back the business.

So you extrapolated the above reports to suggest all Chinese?
Would you do the same if there were reports of a few Aussies doing it or does it just suit your own beliefs so therefore it's ok?

Having said that, there is a recurring theme with the above articles...

A dog act is a dog act, I don't care what nationality does it. And if an Aussie did a dog act I would call them out, like most other Aussies would.

Apparently a lot of Chinese Australians agree with the Chinese travel ban. I guess those racist Chinese people hate Chinese people since they are banning them all not just the known infected ones
