I just updated my iPhone SE to IOS 11.3, after missing a few previous updates.
On my 2015 LZ Focus, I now have very limited telephone functionality, with the vehicle's voice recognition at close to zero, and the phone book refusing to be updated. Since my model Focus only has SYNC2, maybe that's all I can expect, and I am not complaining — I finally have a use for Siri on the iPhone! I just want to check here to see if there is anything I can do. Upgrading to SYNC 3 looks very expensive. |

Most likely need to update sync2 if possible. That should sort functionality issues.

Thanks fiestaz.
I discovered Ford's chart on its website on the supposed functionality, and I find my SYNC 2 has not been doing a lot of the things it is supposed to for a long time. The vehicle was serviced in December and I specifically asked for software to be updated. Does the SYNC system attract the Ford warranty, since I bought the Focus at the beginning of 2016? |
