Doesn't look like it!

Without the roof the car will require added reinforcements and underbody changes to maintain torsional rigidity. These changes will come at a minor cost to performance, and top speed is said to be limited to 217mph (350kmh).

If WHEELS or MOTOR test it, you can be sure the HSV GTS will be a better and faster car............so I wouldn't be interested in a TOPLESS Veyron......it just wouldn't be good enough............

Lol, limited to 350km, why even bother with a speed limiter on it?

In this day and age of speed cameras and point to point brackistan monitors, I would much prefer the Aston Martin DB9 convertible to a Bugatti Targa. That and the cost differential would seal the deal. I do love the Bugatti for its involvement with top gear but a car like that is far too impractical to own.

well whats the point in getting it? who these days only wants to do 350km/h to the shops and back? As for the point to point cameras, moving at that speed i don't think the camera would even have time to get a photo lol....

i can see it now, sitting in their little room, 'why did this camera take a photo of the road? Hmmm strange' lol

Nice and all but there's no need for a car like that on the road

We regularly travel upwards of 320km/h on the runway with 48" tyres and I can tell you, the least little bump you can feel. A bugatti on Australian roads would tear itself apart at top speed. Sorry, but our roads would not allow it to happen with any modicum of safety. In Europe,on the autobahns etc. then yeah, have a bugatti but here, a 4wd is almost a necessity as the quality of our roads steadily slides backwards. Why do you think NSW have the worst roads? Give you a clue, NSW gov. was steve bracks' mentor.
Oh, and you are right, it would be faster than the speed camera but only if you could get it to that speed on our roads.
