Default Help needed

I have an AU 2001 Ghia, and all of a sudden a thud, thud, thud noise is coming from the rear of the car. Its not overly loud but you can hear it. It is only noticable when i get over about 20kmh. I have looked under the car and there is nothing catching anywhere and the tyres are in good nick. The car is not vibrating at speed and is smooth when it is driven. Anyone had something similar or any ideas what this could be guys. THX
