While the basic Ford Six was code named Barra, the Turbo version clearly deserved its very own moniker – again enter Gordon Barfield.
We asked him if the engine had actually been called “Seagull” and how that came about.
“Actually it was just call “Gull”, because I named it that. Because we knew it was going to poo on everything”.

Was reading the Gold Coast bulletin today, there was another accident up near Mt Tambo somewhere.... a WRX written off and apparently was racing. There might be some heat up there when we go up.

Guys, I'm gonna have to pull out of this meet......

I've got to go away for work on Sunday 29th, and seeing that it is my birthday on the 26th, the missus wants to celebrate on the Saturday.

Sorry about this.

I think that the month of August calls for a trip out to Willowbank though, if anyone is interested.

JAson and Nathan..... do us BA Sedans proud !!!!

What's involved for the drags? How much money? Can it be done day or night? What safety equip required? This is one trip the missus would not know about!!! She thinks it is dangerous! But, I'm sure Jason will put his foot in it..haha.....he knows what I mean.

Must remember to put in a couple of extra shackles and tow ropes.....
May have to assist the sedanies up the slope!

Mmmmmm.. 'Sedan on a rope', - 'XT on a rope'...

Mate,

Just so you know. I can't see us fitting 28 Fords in that Shell Service Station Carpark. I would suggest in the carpark around the back by the bus station. We can go south along logan road that way.

cheers

I agree with revell. theres no way we would fit us all at the shell servo.... right next door there is a big open car park. depending on which way u come u come to a set of lights and the shell servo is right there. u turn (either left or rights) at the lights and not far up on the right is the open car park....

What about the anz stadium carpark??? would there be a footy game on that day?
