Took the name of the TV show and crossed it with a cheap car part.

I own a BF XR8 ute and wanted XR8ED but it was taken so I just put an "E" on the front and became EXR8ED.

Cheers

I drive a Vixen Red Super Pursuit... so put a lot of thought into that one!

VIX3N is also my numberplate, other than being the ute's colour it lets everyone know it's a girl driving. Although it looks a little odd when the other half drives it lol :evil_laug

I've had many names, but there is a logical flow of sorts...

1. VenomS - My name on Blue Oval News pre-FF/AFF, I had an EA S pak and I ran Venomous Records at the time
2. VenomXR - On the old FF. My EA got stolen, so I bought a black AUII XR.
3. DeathXR - FF became AFF, but too many red XR owners had similar nicks to the previous one. I'd also moved to Vic and bought my DTHMTL plates
4. Death351 - I sold the XR, and now owned two 351 powered trucks, one wears the old number plates.
5. Mark351 - The previous one seemed inappropriate some time last year...

Can't see me selling both trucks, so this one will stick I reckon...

mine was originally going to be my number plates (TUF obviously meaning tough and 640 being 6 cylinder 4.0L) but by the time it got around to getting my licence and a car, someone already took them :(

From finding a sweet barn-find ages ago. Thought about being 'Vulvo' but thought it might offend the Swedish backpacker girls who drive those old EL wagons and lurk here instead of going to the beach to annoy us.

Started 25 years ago as a simple high school nickname derived first and middle names James & David - Jimmy-D.

Resurfaced again in the mid/late 90's when friends drew a correlation between my spirited driving style and a certain manga series featuring a tofu delivery boy in his AE86 Tureno

Default Re: Where did your user name come from?

Mine originally was not me, it was my car. I had a citric acid XR8 that a freind of mine said reminded him of the bridgestone gecko when he first saw it. The name Gecko stuck on the car so when I joined here I became Geckoxr8.

Then when I changed to the BA GT I changed the username to the new car but kept Gecko as it was pretty well entrenched by then. I have not bothered changing it now sisnce the GT has gone.

So really, Gecko is not me, it is my old car, I am here under false identity.

Mine was after a racehorse I once owned, to look at him he was two toned in colour so I called him Tuco but often people couldn't get the pronouciation right so I lengthened the name to Tucool.
