You can modify the mechanics, but theres not as many options when doing so as there is for the production cars. I know that in on of the BMW race cars you can take out a restrictor from 1000cr and get like an extra 50kw.

only cars i've spent money on is buying an E30 M3 and Datsun 1600, i've raced all the cars you win to get to level 32 or 33 so far.
oh and and did spend some $$$ on the mines GTR that you win to get into the R3 races but it handles terribly compared to the ferrari competizione.

If you've got Xbox LIVE gold then have a look at the DLC pack/s for this game (downloadable extras). The first one (list of cars here: http://forzamotorsport.net/en-us/_te...l.aspx?id=3059) is out and the second one is due January 13th and will include the HSV w427 (boo hiss, useless piece of junk! :p).

I don't like the amount of PI variation there is in some races. I think the opponents should use the auto tuning feature to so the field is more even and the racing is closer.
Anyone else feel the same?

I just bought this yesterday and gave it about 2 hours. Graphics are totally awesome when playing through high def. The best feature in any racing game Ive ever seen will have to be the rewind function in this game. So, so, so many controllers have been thrown at walls due to the lack of this function in the past. Now if you stuff up on the last lap of the really hard race that took you ages to do it doesnt matter if you stuff it up and lose just hit the button and go back 5 seconds. I only have an xbox360 arcade though with about 400mb of memory, does anyone know what gets loaded off of disc 2 and how big it is?

Yeah you get 3 epic tracks; the legendary Nurburgring Nordschleife, an Italian or Spanish targa track, and Fujimi Kaido (Which is an enormous fictional mountain track very much reminiscent for anyone who's seen Initial D)...
...as well as a few cars, unfortunately (for arcade owners, that is). IIRC, you can't install the lot on the arcade's hard drive cos it won't fit, but you cmight be able to choose Euro, American, or Japanese car packs. You can download them off the disc seperately I know that much. I'll find you a link in a sec that will give you all the info. EDIT: http://au.xbox360.ign.com/articles/103/1031109p1.html Enjoy it nevertheless! |
