It doesn't affect me massively, but when it does happen its super annoying.

Well it says summer in the UK. So June/July. If you look at how much later the ST came to OZ after it was released in Europe I'd say it might be a while.

Hmm diesal golf I understand,,, it's a nannas car .. But an ST.... Don't like it, an ST has soul and diesal will just muck that up

The Golf GTD has a lot more torque than the regular GTI and isn't any slower. Don't see any issue with having a Diesel ST but they should really call it the DiST or something.

Anyways, had a look around and through this thread, chasing up some better floor mats for the ST, would love a rubber drivers side one, or at minimum one that comes up behind the pedals and covers the foot rest, the carpet is getting trashed from my work boots. I do notice the US get some pretty nice ones which from a quick eyeball will fit on the drivers side, but passenger side is pretty different.

Just bumping this, anyone found any?

Caught a view of a new ST this week and they have a plastic insert over that bump, it was at a lot and locked so didn't get a good look, Are these something we can fit over the carpet or are they incorporated into the floor carpet design? Anyone have more info or knowledge?

I've got a random question, it's minor but annoys the hell out of me. When I go from AUX to radio regardless of what radio station it was set to before it was changed to AUX it defaults to gold 104! I've tried changing it's preset but it still defaults to gold each time I turn the radio on! Like I said it's minor but annoying has anyone else had the same issue or knows a fix??

Same thing happens to me, when returning to fm from AUX it defaults to 97.3. Not sure if there's a fix

Mine ends up on Hope 103.2, and I don't even go to church. To be honest coming back from AUX is usually OK. When I hang up from an in car phone call it is common.

Only seems to happen to me when I disconnect the ipod before the ICC has shutdown. Switching between AUX and FM doesn't seem to have the same effect.

Do you guys have the traffic thing on? I turned mine off, hasnt happened since.

Edit, im talkin after I turn the car off and back on it no longer goes to AUX to radio.

Mine was on. Turned it off, no more switching between sources once the car is turned off.

Was overtaking a car at 100 clicks the other day and heard like a raspy exhaust note coming from engine bay.... anyone heard any exhaust leak type of sound under boost? Wonder if it just a vacuum hose even or the sound symposer tube etc.... havent lost performance and havent heard it since
